This art piece is an ink painting mandala of the Ajna Chakra.
Using fine japanese brushes, combined with high quality inks on water colour paper I create this artwork with vibrant colours and gold.
Before starting each piece I connect to the energy of chakra within, and create from this space.
The Ajna is the sixth chakra, the third eye chakra and radiates an indigo color. Ajna is a Sanskrit word that literally translates into ‘to perceive, to command’. To command is to creatively visualize and in turn create your reality. When your Ajna is perceiving clearly and commanding reality clearly it is in it’s highest form.
The Ajna is our where our intuition and intellect meet.
Ajna is rooted in the element of spirit, also called ether or akasha. It represents the light of spirit.
The Ajna has two petals which radiate out from a luminescent white circle representing akasha or pure space.
