The Icosahedron is the last in the series of the five Platonic Solids. This symmetrical solid is made of 20 equilateral triangles.
The Icosahedron represents the element of water. Water is about movement, flow and change. It can be visible one minute and invisible the next. It is also linked to the Sacral Chakra, connected to emotions and sexuality. It is the centre of creativity on both the physical and mental realms.
This symbol will help assist in enhancing the creative thought process and it may assist in unlocking and removing emotional stress.
Inspired by the divinity and sacredness of this design, I have used vibrant deep coloured inks on Archers watercolour paper and Japanese brushes to create a beautiful mandala. This greeting card is from original painting created just recently.
