A Wonderful Sacred Geometry Symbol. The Tree of Life is one of the most familiar of the Sacred Geometry Symbols. The structure of the Tree of Life is connected to the sacred teachings of the Jewish Kabbalah but can be seen 3,000 years earlier in Egypt.
A symbol of connection to all things. The tree has roots that reach deeply into the soil, acknowledging its connection to, and accepting nourishment from, Mother Earth. Leaves and branches extend into the sky, acknowledging Father Sun and accepting the energy that it transforms into nourishment.
The tree of life means that you are not an island, but are deeply connected to the world around you and dependent on it for your ability to grow and thrive.
Inspired by the divinity and sacredness of this design, I have used vibrant deep coloured inks on Archers watercolour paper and Japanese brushes to create a beautiful mandala. This greeting card is from original painting created just recently.
